Newsletter - February 7-11

Thank you Lord for another wonderful week! 

Reminders:
February 15: Dad's Day!  Dad's are invited to join us at 11:30 for a mission project with your child.  We also invite you to stay for lunch.

February 25: Six Flag's Reading Due!  These must be filled out on the Six Flags Reading Log and MUST include the minutes read and totaled.  Please attach any extra paper that you may need.   Six Flags requires that we mail the logs to them.

Tuesday: 11:15 - P.E or Library (this week is library)
Wednesday:10:30 - Chapel with Pastor Jason
Thursday: 11:15 - P.E
Friday:  10:15 - Art

Lunch is at 11:45.  We welcome you to join your child for lunch anytime!

Last week we started Reading the Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl.  This week's vocabulary will stem from our book.

Social Studies:  As you know 1st and 2nd grade have teamed up to provide Val-O-Grams to the school.  This will help us with our unit on Resources, Goods and Services.
