Newsletter

We have had so much fun this week celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday!  Thanks to our guest readers for joining in on the fun. I think the best part was making Obleeck.  We tied it into our unit on Matter.  Have your child explain the states of Matter to you.  Does your family have a favorite Dr. Seuss book?

We have several important dates coming up.
March 8-11: Parent Conferences
March 10: Zaxby's Spirit Night 5-8
March 11th: Book Adventure Assembly
March 13th: Spring Forward
March 15th: Field trip to the High Museum (Parents pay $15 at the door, but we need to know if you are going).
March 17th: Report Cards go home
March 23rd: Music Concert Ty Rumble
April 1st: Geometry Photography Project Due (see your child's folder)
April 4-8th: Spring Break
April 18-22: Standardized Testing

This week's Spelling will be a review week.  See your child's folder for a complete list of all of the words.
